About Flute Choir

    Flute Choir is a chamber ensemble that focuses on mastery of both technical and performance skills.

    • Flute Choir performs 2-3 concerts per season.

    • Flute Choir is subject to a minimum enrollment.

    Director

    Veronica Del Castillo is a dedicated and enthusiastic flute teacher and performer. She has performed a variety of freelance work, including performing for churches and senior homes, accompanying the Atlanta Boy Choir, playing in a pit orchestra, and more. She also serves as a volunteer flute teacher for Through the Staff, a nonprofit organization that seeks to make music education more accessible by providing free private music lessons.

    She received her Bachelor of Music from Kennesaw State University, where she studied under Kelly Bryant. During her time there, she played in the KSU Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra as their principal flutist. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music at Georgia State University, where she was awarded a Graduate Research Assistantship.
