Welcome to the 2024-2025 GYSO Auditions! Below you will find information regarding the audition process, required excerpts, and more. If at any point you have any questions, please let us know.
Note: all video auditions are due no later than May 30th, 2024, at 11:59PM
2024-2025 Audition Information
STEP 1 – READ THE AUDITION AND MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Please thoroughly review this audition packet which also contains links to required excerpts and scales (where applicable.)

Note: participation in a school music program is required, provided that one exists.
STEP 2 – REGISTER FOR GYSO (& SUBMIT SCHOLARSHIP REQUESTS)
Registration Fee is $35.
The Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestras program also provides need-based scholarships on a limited basis. To learn more about our need-based scholarships and to complete your application please go to our Scholarships page.
STEP 3 – AUDITION
Submit a digital audition using the instructions below.
Prepare, practice, and submit your digital audition video! After registering for your audition, please use the following resources to familiarize yourself with our digital audition process. If you have any questions, please contact us.

You should receive your audition result approximately 2 weeks after the deadline for submissions has passed.
