About Clarinet Choir

    The Clarinet Choir provides an opportunity for students to expand their knowledge of clarinet performance techniques and skills in a clarinet choir setting.

    • Clarinet Choir performs 2-3 concerts per season.

    • Clarinet Choir is subject to a minimum enrollment.

    Director

    Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Bora has etched herself in the Atlanta music scene as one of the most in demand performers and clinicians. She began studying Piano at the age of 6.  Shortly after moving to America, Bora fell in love with the Clarinet in 6th grade. Bora went on to earn a BM in Clarinet Performance with a minor in Piano from KSU.

    She has studied with Ted Gurch, John Warren, Agnes Marchiones, David Watkins, and Judy Cole. Bora performs all over the South East as a soloist and as a section player with various ensembles. Currently she performs with The Atlanta POPS Orchestra.

    Bora keeps busy as an instructor and clinician daily by teaching upwards of 300 students a week both in group settings and at her home studio. She’s a demanding instructor whose students have been awarded thousands in scholarships, taken top honors in their band programs/universities, and consistently place in all-state band.

    Bora currently resides in Kennesaw with her husband Brian, daughter Yuna, and their dogs Mahler, and Poco.
