GYSO Ticket Initiative

When you don't have to spend out of pocket, it's always better!

This is a way for our students to secure funding for summer programs, music, recordings, lessons, supplies, etc., we are pleased to announce the GYSO Ticket Initiative.

Earn 30% on all tickets you sell for CSO events.

These funds may be credited towards any music related expenditure.

How all of this works:

Order tickets through the Cobb Symphony or Georgia Youth Symphony website. Upon completion of your order, it will ask who did you learn about this from. Simply have the person ordering tickets enter your name and you are done.

Every ticket ordered to your name will be credited to your account. Records are open for inspection any time during normal business hours. Out of curteousy to our limited staffing abilities, if you want to look, please let us know a couple hours before so that we can be certain to have someone in the building.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Question: Are the tickets we sell priced higher, or are there any additional costs associated with this program?

Answer: There are no additional costs with this program. Tickets are sold at face value and 30% of that value is credited to your account.

Question: How may I use the funds?

Answer: Funds may be used for any music related purchase, summer study, private lessons, or any other type of musical activity. Funds may be used for GYSO tuition. GYSO cannot issue a check directly to you, but can pay any music related costs that you have funds for. Simply let us know what you need and we will go from there.

Question: What happens if I do not use all my funds at the end of the year?

Answer: If you are returning to GYSO, the funds will remain in your account for the next year. If you are a graduating senior, funds may be used towards college expenses. If you choose not to return to the GYSO program, funds will be held until you go to college or other post high school activity.
