Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra

About Us

Founded in 2006, the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra offers the opportunity for gifted and talented students to be involved in extraordinary music education through its orchestra training and performance programs. The Georgia Youth Symphony is currently the largest youth orchestra in the southeast.

Ranging in age from 8 through 21 years, the musicians of the nine ensembles are selected by competitive audition and come from all over Georgia. Students admitted into the program experience a complete musical development, in a nurturing and supportive environment. Rotational Seating is in effect throughout the entire season.

Our motto: It's not where you are sitting that counts, but what you do where you are sitting that matters.

The nine ensembles present a full season of concerts each year.
